About:
I'm Lysander and I'm a relatively recent graduate of the University of Gloucestershire, United Kingdom with a first class degree in games design.
While we were taught a variety of professions, I took the biggest shining to 3D work and made it my mission to learn as much as I could about as many styles as I could.
My favourite part of the process for me has always been the satisfaction of bringing an idea out of your head and making it into a physical space you can explore and interact with, bringing life to a piece of concept with no limits other than what my hardware can handle.
I've worked on a handful of small VR and AR solutions for PC as well as general 3D work in the private defense sector, currently located in Swindon UK.
While no mean feat, I want to have a bit of everthing under my belt as I its the kind of art I personally enjoy, I love seeing variety in creativeity online and hope to reflect that myself!
I'm always looking for a new challange and always happy to talk all things 3D, games or anything else digital that comes to mind!
Software and Training
Current software package training includes: 3ds Max, Zbrush R48, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Photoshop CC, Marmoset Toolbag, Unity, Unreal Engine 4
As of recent I have taken a position as a junior 3D developer at RINA consulting. Day to day responsibilities including modelling, baking and texturing client requests to a high standard for pre-rendered E-learning and marketing pitches.
Within my placement year, I acted as the consistent point of contact and thus, team lead for multiple contracts within our research division. These came from external clients and can be compared to freelance work with rigid milestones needing to be adhered to and a small team of artists and coders that required management to allow for the most efficient use of their time to make the best product possible.
